Child Evangelism Fellowship®, (CEF®) is the largest evangelistic faith-based mission agency to children in the world, reaching millions of children each year with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently CEF has ministry in over 200 countries and in every state in the USA with a goal of reaching Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day. CEF's three-fold purpose is to: 1)Evangelize children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; 2) Disciple children in the Word of God; 3) Establish children in a local Bible-believing church for Christian living.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Northern Nevada is a ministry within Child Evangelism Fellowship® International with its state office in Fallon, NV. The Board of Directors is seeking to find a person that is interested in serving the Lord with CEF of Northern Nevada. The potential state director should possess leadership qualities given to us in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. The ideal person understands and embraces that this is a leadership position and not "I do it all" position. The successful director is an individual that approaches this work with the idea of constantly working yourself out of jobs while finding and recruiting people to expand the ministry. In addition, due to the rural setting, this individual is one that loves the outdoors and long drives. Our state office is located 60 miles east of Reno. The person interested in this job should be one that is looking forward to country living within smaller cities and the ability to enjoy the great outdoors.
The state director must have a current solid discipleship connection with their home church and is responsible for establishing the same connection with a local church assembly where they will fellowship in a manner described as faithful and in good standing. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to building partnerships with churches and individuals, fundraising, and cultivating relationships with donors, supporting , and overseeing local chapters, active in establishment and facilitation of Good News Clubs® and other CEF of Northern Nevada ministries. This position will be providing oversight and direction to paid staff, local CEF board leaders and program volunteers.
The state director will also tend to administrative work that looks like attending staff and board meetings among other ad hoc meetings. You will become knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and educate where necessary.

-Can demonstrate an understanding in how to lead and build teams with people from diverse backgrounds
-Five years of proven leadership within a non-profit or church organization and
- A bachelor's or Associates degree in business, management, organizational management, or related field or
- A bachelor's or Associates degree in missions, theology ministry leadership, Christian education, biblical studies or some related field.
(Years of experience may be substituted for formal education if experiences exceeds three to five years)
-Has the ability to effectively communicate to nurture teams, ministry effectiveness in the chapters, and to build new relationships.
-Familiar with current technologies with a willingness to educate themselves to stay efficient with technology changes
-Willingness to complete all required CEF training for this position
